benal beach - holiday rentals in spain vacation apartment accommodation our benal beach apartments and accommodation directory for apartments and villas in spain. our apartment our studio suite other availability apartments to rent in and around malaga as well as owning and renting our own apartments we also rent out other apartments and accommodation in benalmadena, malaga and the costa del sol. ideal for golfing holidays or just somewhere special to spend a spanish vacation. current weather the complex benal beach is one of the biggest complex in the area and is first line of the beach. from the apartment and studio you can see both the mountains and the sea. during peak periods there is nightly entertainment around the pool area and if you prefer something quieter there is an air conditioned bar indoors. lunch and evening meals are served around the pool area at a reasonable cost. the area benalmadena is only 20 minutes from malaga airport but is not on any flight path so there is no aircraft noise. there are very many things to do and see in the area, at the rear of the complete there is a new dolphinarium with shows twice a day. a very large park is next to it with waterfalls and a wide variety of animals wandering around. tivoli world is a 10 minute walk away and is ideal for children, next to tivoli is a cable car which takes you up to the top of the mountain and has magnificent views of the whole of the costa. benalmadena pueblo is a lovely little village in the hills (15 minutes drive) with lots of little caf pools the pools are some of the best in the area and they are 5 of them with life guards in attendance in the summer months. there are various slides into the pools, diving platforms and a pool bar . car hire the complex has a car hire office below reception, its value car hire and their rates are very reasonable. you can call phil on (0034) 952 440844. in the summer it is best to book ahead - phil is english so you won't have any language problems. the office is generally open 10.00am to 1.30pm and 5pm to 7pm spanish time. getting there taxi the taxi from malaga airport costs 15/20 euros and takes about 15 minutes. ask for benal beach apartments benalmadena costa. car hire from the airport if you have a car from the airport, the driving directions are as follows. from the airport car hire, take the exit road and head for torremolinos (road no.n340) stay on the torremolinos road which is dual carriageway. as you go along the carriageway, you will see a sign for benalmadena, going off to the right. ignore this (benalmandena itself is in the mountains you are going to benalmadena costa) stay on the dual carriageway and go over several roundabouts, you will then come to a large roundabout indicating puerto marina - (at the moment there are major roadworks at this point) go straight over this roundabout (if it's still there) and stay on the n340 dual carriageway. the road dips down a hill at the bottom of which is another roundabout which is covered in small windmills (honest!!) at this roundabout turn right. go up the hill, past sunny beach apartments on your left and turn first left, in front of the park gates. benal beach is in front of you. you will be able to drop your cases off at reception and then park the car. (basically the route is straight along the torremolinos/fuengirola road and at the windmill roundabout turn right). present your paperwork to reception and they will direct you to the apartment, its at the other side of the complex - don't be confused by the numbering system - you are in spain!! train there is also a train which runs from the airport to arroyo de la miel (the town at the top of the hill) but then you have to get down to the coast level with your suitacases!!
